I would like to share the good news, we're expecting baby boy #3! Yes a boy again. We're hoping for a baby girl ( obviously) this time but 2 ultrasounds showed it's a baby boy again! It's ok as long as the baby is perfectly healthy. Hubby and I are blessed to have another child. He is due next month, June 21. One more month and I'm going to be a third time mom...awesome! I'm praying for a healthy and normal delivery. =)
I Would like to introduce you to the newest addition to our growing family.... BRYCE GABRIEL C. LOPEZ, 5lbs 15 1/2oz & 20 inches long.
I gave birth last August 26, 2009, 1:14pm at Clark Memorial Hospital via normal delivery. My original due date was Sept 11, 2009, when I reached my 36th weeks, my OB scheduled me for an induction on Sept. 8, 2009 as per my request because I did not want to reach my 40th week...very much eager to give birth na!
I was really extra careful with my second pregnancy because I did not want to have another premature delivery again. I was on strictly diet from my 2nd trimester till I gave birth because I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I strictly followed the diet and blood sugar monitoring 4x/day. I missed eating dessert, summer pa naman! O well, better to be careful than to say sorry later! At least I did not gain a lot of weight this pregnancy ( my consolation for not eating sweets..yey!)
Aside from the gestational diabetes my 2nd pregnancy went very well. I had this feeling that on my 37th week I will give birth and oh boy I was right..talking about mother's instict huh!. At 3pm on August 26, my water bag broke, went to the hospital immediately. I was lucky because aside from Dr. Wright (my OB since my 1st pregnancy), Dr. Oliver Montoya, my anesthesiologist with Jeremy was on call that day...Thank God for that! My contractions/labor started around 7am and started pushing past 12pm. I promised myself I will do my best to have a perfect pushing this time ( I was terrible with Jeremy, o well that was my first time) and I did it! At 1:14pm Bryce was finally out, I was able to deliver another human being in this world.Thank God for a healthy & normal delivery.
We're officially a family of four. With 3 boys in the house ( including hubby), let the fun begin! Question is, are we going to have another one, a baby girl in the next 2 to 3 years? I'll pray for that. For the meantime, I'll enjoy my baby Bryce and Kuya Jeremy too.
Hi blogger friends! I know I've been away for almost 7mons now from blogging. Just to give you an update. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and due on 1st week of September. Based from my last ultrasound, we're having a baby boy again! =) Will update my blog SOOOON and will do blog hopping again.
I splurged myself with this Canvas SB Trench Coat at Forever 21 yesterday. It's already fall and the weather is getting colder that's why I decided to treat myself with this cute trench coat...my pre-Christmas gift huh. =) Besides, the last time I had a new coat was right after I gave birth. Time to buy a new one. LOL!
I'm back! Yipee...hehe After my last entry, wasn't able to write anything in my blog because I really got very busy packing things for our Manila vacation. Then, our June 18 flight came. We're in Manila from June 19-June 30. July 1 when we got back here. It was really a very short vacation but indeed a fun & memorable once again. Wasn't able to go out of town though because of the typhoon plus the little boy got sick pa for 2 days (will write another blog for this). Aside from the wedding ( the major reason why we went home) that we attended, majority of the vacation was spent with our families, relatives & some close friends and we're so happy about that. I told hubby nga na even if it's one day vacation I'll grab the chance just to see my family because i miss them so much! Take a look at our Manila 2008 Vacation in my multiply account.
To my blogger friends here, will try my best to visit your blog again starting this week...I miss reading blogs. I have couple of tags to do na rin! Unfortunately, immediately right after we arrived home, the 3 of us got sick ( but we're all okei now, thank God!) Then, right now we're very busy renovating our house. Just finished painting it yesterday. This week from carpet to hardwood floor naman sa living area. It's our 2008 major project for our house kasi. =) Haaay, busy busy talaga.
Anyway, nice to be back. Have a great week, friends!
We had lunch at Jade Palace Restaurant after the 11:30am mass last Sunday to celebrate Mother's day. Majority of the day was spent in the house because of the bad weather plus kulit bulilit was not feeling well. I got a mother's day card from the Jlo's and havaianas slippers as a gift. Thanks!!! I love you. I'm so blessed to have you both.
Mother's Day
Monday, May 12, it was my birthday naman. I just turned 30! (tanda ko na!...hehe) Hubby took a half day off. We went to Oxmoor & St. Matthews Mall for a "little" shopping. Then, we had a dinner reservation at P.F. Chang's China Bistro in Louisville,KY with some of our good friends. Originally, hubby wanted to give me a birthday party since I'm turning 30 na raw. I begged not to throw a party, I wanted a simple celebration lang. My wish was granted naman...hehe
Happy Birthday!

Yesterday, I sent a text message to hubby "Thanks for ALWAYS making my special day a memorable one. I love you so much, Dada"
Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
I'm Happy!!! Why? Finally, my own complete series FRIENDSdvd set. My sweet hubby gave it to me as a pre-birthday gift (thanks, da!). I'm a big fan of this hit show since I got here in the US. Now, I don't need to record the reruns or even stay up late just to watch it. I can watch it whenever I want to. =)
We went to Edinburg Premium Outlet last Saturday with Tata & Nicole ( hubby's auntie & niece). It was their first major shopping here in the US.
As mentioned from my previous post, I wanted to buy my kulit bulilit a pair of crocs slippers. I was so happy when I saw the Crocs store, unfortunately there was no available size for the little boy. Instead, we ended up buying a Nike rubber shoes for him.
Lebron James Nike Rubber Shoes
For mommy naman, I was able to find a pair of comfy flat shoes at Nine West. I have been looking for a flat shoes I can wear every time we go out. I don't want to wear rubber shoes since it's Spring na.
We were there from 11am-5pm. Imagine there are 85 outlet stores! Tata was able to buy all the "pasalubong" at a cheap price, most of them branded pa. She'll bring more money daw when she comes back here in the US...funny!hehe.
It's already spring and I would like to buy my kulit bulilit a pair of slippers. However, I'm torn between Crocs & Havaianas. I saw this cute crocs slippers at FinishLine when we were at the mall a few weeks ago. It's quite expensive though for a toddler's slippers.
Then, just last week I came across with this Havaianas slippers while surfing the internet. Cuteness again! haaay. A little bit cheaper than Crocs ( plus points! hehe).
I still have a few days to decide what to buy. We'll probably go to the mall this weekend. So, what do you think? Crocs or Havainas? Mommy, think think think!
I got good news today, my blog has been approved by PayPerPost. Finally, I'm now a Postie!
Since I joined the paid blogging world, without a doubt, I would sign up for Payperpost. As a full time mom for 2 years now, I have been wanting to have a part time job at home. I learned about Payperpost first from WomenforHire.com. The site has a wide work from home resources, and there they recommend payperpost if you want to be a professional blogger. But, not until we had a discussion in my e-group about paid blogging that I decided to do it. Moms from my e-group are living proof that paid blogging is worth giving a try and they highly recommend Payperpost!
Since my blog was still new then, I just focused myself on writing my blog, learning the loops in blogging & most of all gaining friends through it. It was just this week when I decided to give it a shot & sign up my blog on Payperpost. I'm so thankful that they approved my site & gave me an opportunity in blog advertising. What's good about Payperpost is that it has lots of opportunities for you as a blogger. I was really overwhelmed when I saw what they offered. It gave me another reason to blog!
I know that I'm still a newbie at paid blogging and still need a lot of work or improvements to do. I hope that I would be able to justify myself as a blogger, as a Mom who wants to earn while doing the household chores, and taking good care of my loved ones. I have two reasons to work hard and earn my own money. First, it's my birthday next month, it would be my first time to treat my Jlo's out for a dinner and celebrate my big 3-0! Second, we'll have a short vacation in Manila in June, and the airfare ticket is so expensive since it's summer here in the US. Whatever I will earn from paid blogging will go directly to our pocket money.
What a great way to start my Monday. I got an email from Smorty. They already approved my blog. It's official, I'm really into paid blogging now. The paid blogging idea came from my e-group. I think it was January when we had a topic about paid blogging. I got inspired and decided to have my own blog.
It was just this weekend when I registered my blog to Smorty. After a simple registration, I instantly became a member. You just have to wait for their confirmation if your blog has been approved or rejected. I was able to explore also the website, read discussions from the forum and familiarize myself with Smorty while waiting for the approval of my blog.
I highly recommend this paid blogging site. Not only advertisers paid you to blog but you can earn also from their referral program. As a full time Mom, you blog for money while still taking care of everything at home. One thing more, they even have an available opportunities for me right after my blog has been approved. What a great site.
I decided to have time off from my work at home today. It's been a month since I became a ChaCha guide and been working everyday ( yes, day & night if my time permits). I'm still a full time mom.=) I love what I'm doing as a ChaCha guide, waiting for the queries to pop up from Info Seekers, search the ChaCha website, send the right answers and wallah, I'm earning! I've been looking for a work at home job ever since and I considered this as a blessing because I would like to save some money for our Manila trip on June.
From taking a time off, I was able to....
- write my own blog - read other's blog - sign up a PayPal account - search some paid blogging sites - look for a pediatric dentist for my son
Finally, just chill out and spend quality time with the JLO's. Have a great weekend everyone!
