And The Winner Is....

The winner of Season 7 American Idol is DAVID COOK! Yehey!!!
What can I say, I became a big fan since his own version of Hello.
Cook is a total performer, a true American Idol. =)
I already told hubby to buy an Itune card, would like to download David C's songs...hehe.

Malu-BYE

It's the end of the road for Fil-Am Ramielle Malubay in American Idol.
The latest eliminated AI contestant.
With her in the bottom 3 were Brooke White & Kristy Lee Cook.
Based from the performance last Tuesday, I knew that Malubay would be in the bottom 3.
Sad to say, I was not even surprised when Ryan Seacrest announced her name.
Even the worst idol contestant in this batch, Kristy Lee Cook was way better than her last Tuesday.

I like Ramielle since her first audition in Florida.
However, since the top 24, she didn't show her over the top performance.
Week after week hubby & I were waiting for her to make "birit"...but nothing!
I have this feeling that Filipinos here in the US got tired of voting for her.
It's not a popularity contest anyway, it's a singing contest.

On the positive note, at least she made it on the top 10.
She will be able join the AI tour and hopefully AI will release a cd of their batch ( last year kasi wala)....another exposure for Ramielle.
Nevertheless, Congratulations Ramielle.
As a Filipino, I'm still proud of you.
Way to go girl!
Paging Kapuso & Kapamilya in the Philippines...hehe.

AI's Top 12

Congratulations to Ramielle Malubay! She made it to the Top 12 of American Idol.
Goodluck! I hope you'll make it naman sa Top 3 or first Asian AI winner...o di ba! hehe. =)
To all the Filipinos here in America, let's support her!

My Top 6 Favorite ( top 12 girls)

"Thanks for voting contestant #10".
Yes, I'm voting right now for Ramielle Malubay while writing this blog.
She did great on her rendition of "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me".
I think Ramielle is way way better than Jasmine Trias, also a Filipino-American from Season 3.
Randy, Paula & Simon liked her performance tonight.
I don't like her outfit though, it didn't match the song.
Well, what matter is that this sweet girl has a potential to win the American Idol.

Based on their performance tonight, here are my top 6 favorite:

Goodluck Ramielle! Mabuhay ang Pinoy!!!

My Top 6 Favorite ( top 12 boys)

I just watched the Top 12 boys of American Idol performed tonight.
Based from their performance, here are my Top 6 favorite which I hope will be in the Final top 12. =)

Last one is Michael Johns, I'm trying to upload his photo but there's no luck. Will try again later.

I'm excited to watch the Top 12 girls who will perform tomorrow, we'll surely support the Filipino-American Ramiele Malubay.
